Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Continue with reading and note-taking of important Chinese Inventions and Discoveries from Ch. 18 in eBackpack reading. Periods 4 & 6=Discuss Mongols and Genghis Khan questions as a class. Then start on Cornell Notes from Red Book on Ming Dynasty (Pages 282-287). Homework: None.

Wednesday, January 29th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Continuing reading and annotating Ch. 18 on Chinese Inventions and Discoveries. Periods 4 & 6=Cornell Notes and Reading from Red Book. Homework: None.

Tuesday, January 28th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Continue and finish Ch. 17 packet and questions. After we finish Ch. 17, we'll begin to read about the inventions and discoveries in Ch. 18. Periods 4 & 6=Chinese Poetry Appreciation Day. Homework: None.

Agenda: PERIODS 1 & 2=Continue reading Ancient Chinese Dynasties on eBackpack reading as a class. If finish before end of class, discuss importance aspects of each dynasty. PERIODS 4 & 6=Briefly review Chinese Dynasties and 3 Eastern Religions to start class. Watch documentary to review Ancient China. Then start reading from History Alive! on eBackpack: Ch. 16. Homework: PERIODS 4 & 6 ONLY=Finish Reading and questions up through 16.2 (if not done already).

Tuesday, January 14th

Agenda: PERIODS 1 & 2=Take China Map Quiz to begin class. Continue reading and highlighting Chinese Dynasties reading (get as far as possible and finish it tomorrow). PERIODS 4 & 6=Our focus today is on the 3 Major Religions of Asia. We'll be doing a reading, mainly as a class, and answering questions about these 3 Eastern Religions. Homework: PERIODS 4 & 6 ONLY=Finish religion questions if not done already.
