Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Finish Early Japan reading and questions as a class. Periods 4 & 6=Review answers to Shoguns and Samurais packet as a class. Work on Rise of the Warrior Class Handout and reading from eBackpack. Homework: Periods 1 & 2=None. Periods 4 & 6=Finish Rise of Warrior Class Handout (if not already done). It's due tomorrow.

Monday, February 24th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Study for Japan Map Quiz tomorrow. Periods 4 & 6=Finish analyzing Prince Shotoku's Constitution and review early Japan from 2 weeks ago. Homework: Periods 1 & 2=STUDY FOR JAPAN MAP QUIZ TOMORROW. Periods 4 & 6=None.

Friday, February 14th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Turn-in Japan Map and then Friday fun day (it's a surprise). Periods 4 & 6=Analyze the significance of Prince Shotoku's Constitution by looking at the primary source itself and discussing. If time, share plans' for "Ski Week" off. Homework: None.

Thursday, February 13th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Utilize class to color in Japan Map. Periods 4 & 6=Take Japan Map Quiz and turn-in Japan Map. Finish packet on Early Japan history and discuss. Homework: Periods 1 & 2=Finish Japan Map. Periods 4 & 6=Finish Early Japan packet, if not done already.

Wednesday, February 12th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Review Japan Maps together as a class and time to sharpie and color them in. (Map is due at start of class on Friday) Periods 4 & 6=Today our focus is Prince Shotoku. We'll also be checking our Japan Maps because final draft and Japan Map quiz are tomorrow. Homework: PERIODS 1 & 2=WORK ON JAPAN MAP. PERIODS 4 & 6=STUDY FOR JAPAN MAP QUIZ AND BE READY TO HAND-IN FINAL DRAFT OF JAPAN MAP at start of class.

Tuesday, February 10th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Work on Japan Map for the class period. Periods 4 & 6=Discuss mythical founding of and the First Japanese people and read about it in the Blue AND Red books. Read background essay on the Jimmu from ebackpack. Homework: PERIODS 4 & 6 ONLY=Continue to work on Japan Map (have all sharpie done by start of class tomorrow=Wednesday). Please keep in mind to study for Japan Map Quiz and be ready to turn-in final draft of Japan Map on Thursday.
