Agenda: Periods 1 & 2 Only=Start on Fall of Rome Storyboards in groups as a class. Periods 4-7 Only=Take Emperors' Quiz and then complete analysis of Augustus, Trajan and Hadrian with Character Study. Homework: None.

Monday, September 29th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Weekend wrap-ups. Then finish discussing Hadrian questions. After that, introduce and start Fall of Rome Storyboards. Periods 4-7=Weekend wrap-ups. Then check/share Emperor Hadrian questions as a class. Rest of class to study for Emperors' Quiz tomorrow. Homework: Periods 4-7 ONLY=Study for Emperors' Quiz tomorrow!

Thursday, September 18th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Check Roman Empire Maps and then use rest of class to popcorn read Augustus reading on eBackpack. Periods 4-7=Get into partner groups of 2 (or you may work by yourself if you like), and then finish reading/answer questions about eBackpack Augustus reading. Be sure to use complete sentence, detailed answers. When finish, use remainder of class to study for Roman Empire Map Quiz tomorrow. Homework: ALL CLASSES=Study for Roman Empire Map Quiz Tomorrow.

Agenda: ALL CLASSES=Review/check Roman Empire Maps as a class. Then begin with the first Roman Emperor Cesar Augustus. One of my favs:) You'll find the reading on eBackpack. Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Pick-Up where we left off and finish Kalahari Bushmen reading/Systems of a Culture as a class. Start on Rome Unit with Remember Rome on what you remember about the Systems of a culture from Ancient Rome! Periods 4-7=Briefly check/review Kalahari Systems of a Culture worksheet as a class. The we get to start on the Rome Unit with Remember Rome on what you remember about the Systems of a culture from Ancient Rome! After that, we'll introduce the Rome Unit Map and work on it for the rest of period. Homework: CONTINUE TO WORK ON ROME UNIT MAP (DUE WEDNESDAY FOR PERIODS 4-7).
