Agenda: Start class by sharing 2 images you chose for your Self-Identity profile AND WHY with your classmates. Then turn-in Identity profile. After that we're going to start our World Map week with an exercise to see how well you know World geography. Homework: None.

Wednesday, August 30th

Agenda: Spend today working on your Self-Identity portrait! You'll have all class to work on them. Homework: Finish your Self-Identity portrait, due at the start of class tomorrow.

Tuesday, August 29th

Agenda: 10-15 minutes at the start of class to finish your Bio. Box activity write-up from yesterday. Then a little of the name game. Towards the end of class, I'll explain what we're doing for tomorrow when our focus will be on your identity. Homework: Bring Magazines to class to create your identity in collage form!

Monday, August 28th

Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups! Then Bio. Box archeological dig activity! Remember, the person who's box you are discovering has been dead for over a 1,000 Years! So needless to say, this is a quiet activity, unless you can commune with the dead :) Homework: None.

Friday, August 25th

Agenda: ***iPad Day*** Please bring your iPads into class with you so that we can download and explore Newsla together. After that, let's play a little more of the name game. Then I'm going to pass out to you the fun activity that we'll be working on this Monday: the Bio. Box! Homework: Bring your completed Bio. Box ready to share to class with you on Monday! Also Class Contracts are due too.

Thursday, August 24th

Agenda: Start class by making seating chart. Then review Class Contract as a class. If time, play the name game :) Homework: Class Contract must be signed by your parent/guardian and returned to class by Monday.

Wednesday, August 23rd

Agenda: Ice-Breaker surprise (with prize for the first place finisher). Then go around class and share one thing you enjoyed doing with your new classmates. If time, play the name game! Homework: None.
