Agenda: Review Lesson 5 Section 3 Questions as a class. Then take time to write interview questions to Joan of Arc on Page 35 of your workbook. Homework: Study for Lesson 5 Test on Tuesday.

Wednesday, November 29th

Agenda: Review Rise of the Archers as a class. Then start on Section 3 (Reading, Highlighting and Questions). Homework: Finish Q.'s 1-3 in Section 3 by start of class tomorrow! AND start studying for Lesson 5 (Sections 1, 2 AND 3) Test on Tuesday.

Tuesday, November 28th

Agenda: Focus on English Side of the 100 Years War by discussing and working on Rise of the Archers Handout. We'll do the first 2 as a class and then you'll get in small groups to complete the Final 4. Homework: Finish pages the Rise of the Archers that you didn't get to in class for homework tonight.

Monday, November 27th

Agenda: Share two things that you did over your Thanksgiving Break! Then re-energize your enthusiasm for Joan of Arc and the Hundred Years War by "Reading Further" into Joan at the end of Lesson 5 as a class. Homework: None.

Friday, November 17th

Agenda: Watch Black Death scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail...then either more Monty Python OR Raiders of the Lost Ark (your vote) :) Homework: Have a very Happy Thanksgiving Week break with your family & friends!!

Thursday, November 16th

Agenda: Start class by working through the rest of Section 2 in our workbooks as a class. Then Brainpop on the Black Death...after that, a crafty surprise. Homework: None.

Wednesday, November 15th

Agenda: Review Section 1. Then dramatize Black Death and start on questions as a class for Section 2. Homework: None.

Tuesday, November 14th

Agenda: Check/Review Voc. for Lesson 5. Then have fun with a Brainpop lesson on the Magna Carta. After that, answer questions for Section 1 up to last chart (we'll do that as a class tomorrow). Homework: Finish Section 1 Q.'s (1-3) up to chart at the bottom of Page 30 (don't do question #4).

Monday, November 13th

Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then read Newsela article to on the Magna Carta as a class. After that, work on Lesson 5 vocabulary sheet. Homework: If you aren't quite down with Lesson 5 voc. sheet, then finish it for homework tonight.

Thursday, November 9th

Agenda: 10 minutes to study at the start of class. Then put EVERYTHING outside except for your iPad. After that take Ch. 4 Test on eBackpack. Then some Thursday Fun :) Homework: None.

Wednesday, November 8th

Agenda: Start class by sharing some of your creative Journal/Diary entries in your day-in-the life of a Medieval European. Then use today as a study day (you may study with a partner or two). As you are studying, I will stop by to check your Lesson 4 Workbook. Homework: Study, Study, Study for Ch. 4 Test tomorrow!

Tuesday, November 7th

Agenda: Work individually and quietly on Sect. 7 AND the Processing (to be done on a separate sheet of paper). If finished before the end of class, use the time to study. Homework: Study, Study for Ch. 4 Test on Thursday!

Monday, November 6th

Agenda: Begin class by sharing our Guilds :) Then work on Sections 5 & 6 as a class after taking 10 minutes to read & highlight them. Homework: Study for Lesson 4 Test on Thursday!

Friday, November 3rd

Agenda: Start class by checking and reviewing Sections 1 & 2 of Lesson 4. Then you'll partner-up to complete the questions for Sections 3 & 4. After that, with that same partner, your job is create a Guild (complete with name and symbol for your Guild). Then you and your Guild partner will present your Guild Proposal in front of your classmates. Homework: None.

Thursday, November 2nd

Agenda: Start on Lesson 4: Section 1 Q.'s as a class...then branch out to do Section 2 on your own. Homework: Sects. 1 & 2 Completed in your Workbook by the Start of Class Tomorrow.

Wednesday, November 1st (GAME 7)!

Agenda: Start day with brief discussion recognizing the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. (it only happens once every 500 years afterall)... Then introduce Lesson 4 with Vocabulary, only 4 terms!! Homework: None :)
