Friday, December 15th

Agenda: Take first 20 minutes to finish preparing Constantinople Real Estate Ads and then present as groups in front of the class! Homework: Study, Study for Lesson 6 Test on Tuesday.

Thursday, December 14th

Agenda: Start with Byzantine Empire art analysis. Then make groups of 5 or 6 and start working on your Constantinople Real Estate Ads! They are going to be presented in the front of class tomorrow (you'll have half of class to work on them tomorrow before you present). Homework: Work on your part of the Real Estate Ad project.

Wednesday, December 13th

Agenda: Check and Review Sections 2 & 3 Questions as a class. Then focus on the chart for Section 4 as a class. The center of today's lesson is reasons for the divide between the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church that has divided the the two for the past 1000 years AND STILL divides them today! Homework: Start to Study for Lesson 6 Test on Tuesday.

Tuesday, December 12th

Agenda: Discuss Lesson 6 Section 3 as a class before you work on Workbook work for Sections 2 AND 3 (don't need to do section 1). You may work in groups of two today if you like. After you finish those, please read Section 4 and highlight. Homework: Finish Sections 2 AND 3 in your workbook if you haven't completed it yet. Also read Section 4 and highlight as you read.

Monday, December 11th

Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups, then focus on detail, detail today (by discussing and adding to the handout you started with Mrs. Schreiner on Thursday). Homework: Finish Reading/Highlighting Lesson 6 Section 3 on the Eastern Orthodox Church.

Thursday, December 7th

Agenda: Please be good for Mrs. Schreiner (as you guys always are). Today she will be focusing with you on Empress Theodora and Justianian's Code. HAVE FUN :) Homework: None.

Wednesday, December 6th

Agenda: Introduce Lesson 6 with discussion on Justinian & Theodora! Start with picture analysis on first page of reading. Then work on Lesson 6 vocabulary sheet with a partner. Homework: Read Lesson 6 Sections 1 AND 2.

Tuesday, December 5th

Agenda: Take first 10 minutes to study. Then take Lesson 5 Test on eBackpack. Then if time, after everyone is done, watch clip from 100 Years War documentary. Homework: None.

Monday, December 4th

Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups (if you like). If you want to get to studying sooner, that's ok too. If one of your classmates created a Kahoot, we'll play it as a class. Homework: STUDY, STUDY, STUDY FOR LESSON 5 TEST tomorrow.

Friday, December 1st

Agenda: Individual Study Day for our Lesson 5 Test on Tuesday. Don't forget that if you want to create a Kahoot, we will play the Kahoot you create as a class on Monday! Homework: Study Hard over the weekend for your Test on Tuesday. Also don't forget that there will be a Study Session AFTER 7th period on Monday from 3-4PM.
