Agenda: Check Section 1 and 2 Q.'s. Then check voc (after it's been returned to you). We'll be checking both as a class. After checking the q's and the voc., we'll talk a little more about the class government that we're going to set up for this unit based on Medieval China. Then you'll be working with a partner to answer questions for Section 3.
Homework: Read and Highlight Sections 4 AND 5.
Monday, March 19th
Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then check Lesson 15 highlights for Sections 1 & 2. After that, use your knowledge of Sections 1 & 2 to answer workbook questions on pages 118-119. Make sure you're detailed, because the more detailed you are, the better chance you have to become a scholar-offical. Once you're done, you can check/add to your answers with a partner (but only after you've answered them yourself). Finally, please read and highlight Section 3.
Homework: Finish workbook questions for Sections 1 & 2 by the end of class and also reading/highlighting of Section 3.

Agenda: Today we'll be adding more important events to the timeline for Section 1. Then focusing on one of the richest men in the history of the world (Mansa Musa). After that you'll have some time to study for your Test on Tuesday. DON'T FORGET TO STUDY LESSON 12, along with Lesson 13.
Homework: Study, Study for your Lessons 12 AND 13 Test Next Tuesday!! Heads Up: There will be a study session after school on Monday for around 30 minutes.

Agenda: Start class by checking highlighting for Lesson 13 Sections 2-7. Then start workbook activity for those sections with a dividing of the class into 6 groups. Your group will be responsible for reviewing with the class about YOUR section. Today, your group is responsible for completing 4 of the 6 sections.
