Agenda: Watch documentaries on Grand Canal, Art of War, etc. Be sure to take good bullet point notes. Homework: None.

Thursday, April 12th

Agenda: Take first 3/4 of class to work on and complete the final draft of your Advertising Poster. Then we'll be presenting them to the rest of class and finally you'll place them right below your desk before you go. Homework: None, see you at Open House tonight.

Wednesday, April 11th

Agenda: Check and Review Sections 2 and 3 as a class. Work on rough draft of your advertising poster (Processing on page 129). Do your rough draft on page 129/130. Then start working on final draft (due by end of class tomorrow) which will be done on printer paper you can find at the back of the classroom. Homework: None.

Tuesday, April 10th

Agenda: Check and Review Section 1 as a class. After that, find a partner (only groups of two for this one) and literally and figuratively fill-in the boxes for Sections 2 AND 3). Homework: Make sure that you've finished BOTH Sections 2 AND 3 by the start of class tomorrow (they will be checked for credit).

Monday, April 9th

Agenda: Spring Break Wrap-Ups! Then get back into our studies on Medieval China by discussing what we felt Mulan got historically incorrect. After that, complete Lesson 16 Preview as a class. Finally, start reading Lesson 16 Section 1 and complete the questions JUST for Section 1. Homework: Finish Reading and Answering Q.'s for Lesson 16 Section 1.
