Agenda: **Please leave iPads outside for this entire week, thank you** Weekend wrap-ups. Then complete Geography Challenge together as a class and then individually (using worksheets and a pen). After this, watch excellent documentary about Samurai bow and the importance of the horse and bow. Friday, April 26th (The Endgame Begins)
Agenda: *iPad Day* Check Medieval China Q.'s. Read from Ch. 18 individually and then as a class. Discuss innovations/discoveries drawings you did. Then watch PBS clip on the voyages of Zheng He. Finally, watch youtube video of Zheng He ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_Elh_jo_dc ). And last, Friday Funday Surprise :)
Homework: Get a good night's rest on Sunday to be ready for testing Monday morning (**REMEMBER: Monday is a late start**).

Agenda: *iPad Day* Review Ch. 16 Q.'s as a class. Then focus on which 3 innovations/discoveries that you chose. We'll hear from the entire class and "vote". And then you'll write why you chose those 3 for your answer to the question for Ch. 17. Finally, you'll draw how you think these innovations/discoveries looked.
Homework: Make sure you finish your Medieval China questions before start of class tomorrow.
Wednesday, April 24th
Agenda: *iPad Day* Review answers for Ch. 15 questions as a class. Work on Ch. 16 questions. Then, decide which THREE Chinese discoveries/inventions from reading and highlighting Ch. 17 that you would like to focus on tomorrow.
Homework: None, if done with reading/highlighting Ch. 17 by end of class.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Picture analysis to start class. Then answer questions for Ch. 15 individually on separate sheet of paper. Once you're done with that, start reading and highlighting Ch. 16: China Develops a New Economy (on Google Classroom). If you finish before end of class, you can start answering questions for Ch. 16 on same paper as your answers for Ch. 15.
Homework: Have reading and highlighting of Ch. 16 done by start of class tomorrow.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Open Google Classroom. You will see a PDF titled 3 Eastern Religions. Open it up in notability and we'll work on most of it together as a class. Then you'll finish it up and make sure to print it out tonight. The hard copy is going to be checked for credit tomorrow.
Homework: Print out your answers from the activity today and be ready to have it checked first thing tomorrow.

Agenda: Please leave iPads outside today. Today is all about Mansa Musa! First you'll take down your 5 M's on the board (make sure you memorize those!) Then we'll watch a 3 minute video on Mansa Musa: One of the Richest Men to Ever Live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3YJMaL55TM After the video, using your red book, starting on page 225 and going onto page 226, you'll take bullet point notes on anything and everything to do with Mansa Musa. *There will be a quiz next week, so make sure you're detailed*. Finally, with last 10 minutes of class we'll discuss your notes.
