Agenda: Review Ch. 9 Q.'s as a class. Then jeopardy review for Test TOMORROW! Homework: STUDY, STUDY, STUDY for Chs. 7, 8 AND 9 Test Tomorrow.

Monday, October 28th

Agenda: Pick-up where you left off with Ch. 9 activity. *Be sure to check Google classroom if you don't quite finish=after school today* Homework: Finish Ch. 9 (sections 2-10) that you don't have done by start of class tomorrow.

Friday, October 25th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Watch newer version of The Hajj and take notes on how it is different from the other one we saw. Then start on Ch. 9 activity. Homework: Study Chs. 7, 8 & 9 for Islam Test on Wednesday and feel free to work on the Ch. 9 Q.'s if you like.

Thursday, October 24th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Work on Ch. 9 voc. together as a class. Then watch the last part of Islam: Empire of Faith that we'll view and take notes. Homework: Start studying for Chs. 7-9 Test on Wednesday.

Agenda: iPads Stay Outside Today Please. Check/Review Ch. 8 Q.'s as a class in detail. Then watch a little more of Islam: Empire of Faith and take notes. Homework: None, get a good night's sleep for Fulcrum fun tomorrow.

Monday, October 21st

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then continue working on Ch. 8 packet in small groups. If you finish before the end of class, you can work on the Processing activity on the back. Homework: Be ready to check/review the ENTIRE Ch. 8 packet at start of class tomorrow.

Friday, October 18th

Agenda: Watch documentary on the Hajj to Mecca. Make sure you're taking bullet point notes and then we'll discuss as a class. Homework: None.

Thursday, October 17th

Agenda: *Ipad Day* Check highlights for Ch. 8. Then work on Section 1 together. After that, you'll be working with a partner on Sections 2-5 (making sure your answers are detailed). Homework: None, IF you're done with Section 5 by end of class.

Wednesday, October 16th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Check/Rev. Ch. 8 voc. Then explain Ch. 8 packet and start on Preview together as a class. Homework: Finish reading and highlighting Ch. 8.

Tuesday, October 15th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Watch more of Islam: Empire of Faith. Make sure you're taking bullet point notes on things you see in the doc. that we covered in Ch. 7 yesterday. Then complete Ch. 8 voc. sheet. Homework: None, as long as the Ch. 8 voc. sheet is completed by the end of class.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Share one thing you learned from our viewing of Islam: Empire of Faith documentary yesterday. Everyone will share one fact. Then handout, explain and get started on Ch. 7 questions. We're working through Sect. 4 today. Homework: None, IF you've finished through Section 4 by end of class.

Agenda: Please leave iPads outside today, thanks. Check/Review Ch. 7 voc. as a class. Watch and take more notes on Islam: Empire of Faith. We'll discuss and have everyone share one fact to start class tomorrow. Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Work on Ch. 7 vocabulary sheet individually for first 30 minutes of class. When you finish the voc., continue to read and highlight Ch. 7. Then get out a sheet of paper and start taking bullet point notes on PBS documentary titled: Islam-Empire of Faith (we will continue watching and taking notes on more of it later this week). Homework: None, if you've finished your Ch. 7 voc in class.
