Agenda: *iPad Day* Check/Review Ch. 18 Q.'s as a class. Make sure you're adding to your answers as we discuss. Then time to study/finish organizing your notebook. Homework: Study, Study for China Unit Test on Friday!

Tuesday, January 28th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Work on the rest of Ch. 18 Reading first, and then questions. If you finish by end of class, then you can work on the Processing (which is optional), organize your notebook (also due on Friday) OR start studying. Homework: Study for China Unit Test on Friday.

Monday, January 27th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then pass out Ch. 18 Packet (this will be the last thing for the Notebook Check Due on Friday). Complete Preview together, then time in-class to work on Ch. 18 Voc. When you finish please show me for your check, and then you can start with answering Q.'s for Section 1. Homework: Start Studying for your China Unit Test on Friday.

Using the interactive guide, explore the Chinese New Year website https://chinesenewyear.net/ and learning more about this celebration of the Lunar New Year. Agenda: *iPad Day* Check/Review Ch. 17 Voc. as a class. Then work in groups of 2 to complete Ch. 17 Q.'s (no Processing yet) please. With last 5 minutes of class, we'll review these important Chinese Inventions/Innovations. Homework: None.

Wednesday, January 22nd

Agenda: *iPad Day* Check/Review Advertising Posters with the class. Then review the rest of Ch. 16 (Sections 1-3 Q.'s) as a class. When done reviewing Ch. 16, start on Ch. 17 Voc. Homework: Finish Ch. 17 Voc.

Tuesday, January 21st

Agenda: *iPad Day AND Don't Forget Your Colored Pencils Too* Work on/Finish Ch. 16 Processing Advertising Poster activity. When done, you can quietly read and highlight Ch. 17. Homework: Finish your Advertising Poster and be ready to share at start of class tomorrow!

Agenda: *iPad Day* Pick-up where you left off by completing Sections 2-3 AND the Processing activity (on a separate piece of printer paper). Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Check Ch. 16 Voc. While I'm doing that, you'll be completing the Ch. 16 Preview. Once the voc. is checked and the Preview is done, then you'll be working with a partner on Ch. 16 Q.'s Sections 1 & 2. IF you finish Sects. 1 & 2 (IN DETAIL) before the end of class, you may start Sect. 3. Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Work on understanding 3 Eastern Religions (found on Google Classroom) as a class. Homework: None.

Tuesday, January 14th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Check/Review Ch. 15 Sections 3-5 Q.'s as a class. Then handout Ch. 16 voc. terms and complete them. When done with the voc, read and highlight Ch. 16 found on Google Classroom. Homework: None.

Monday, January 13th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap-Ups first. Then review Section 3 as a class. After that, work on Sections 4 & 5 in groups of 2. If you finish those before the end of class, you may answering the Processing question on a separate sheet of paper. Homework: None, IF you're finished with Sections 4-5 by end of class.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Take a few minutes to finish up Section 2 of the Ch. 15 worksheets. Then we'll share about Sections 1 & 2 as a class. After that, mini-documentary on Chinese crossbows for FunDay Friday. Finally, work with a partner on Section 3 Q.'s. Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Take first 5 minutes of class to finish Ch. 15 Voc. After that, we'll review the voc. terms. Then we'll start on our Ch. 15 packet, just sections 1 & 2 today please. Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Check/Review Geography Challenge Q.'s. Then work on Ch. 15 Vocab. sheet. I'll give you the first 5 minutes of class tomorrow to finish (if you haven't already). Homework: Finish Ch. 15 Voc. if not done by end of class.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Using the maps you find at the start of Ch. 15 (found in Google Classroom) and the red books underneath your desks: answer the questions and fill-in the map for the China Geography Challenge. Please answer the Critical Thinking Q.'s on a separate sheet of paper. Homework: What you don't finish in class is homework tonight.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Holiday Break wrap-ups. Then we're going to do a KWL for the China Unit together. After that, you can start reading and highlighting Ch. 15 that can be found on Google Classroom. Homework: None.
