Agenda: ALL CLASSES=Finish Master of the Killer Ants doc. THEN...Periods 1 & 2=Review 3 African Empires and then finish African Village Society chart handout. Periods 4-7=Review African Village Society chart handout as a class and start on African Proverbs (we'll finish with them to start class tomorrow). Homework: Periods 4-7 ONLY=Continue Studying for Large Quiz on Wednesday.

Friday Fun Day, December 6th

Agenda: ALL CLASSES=Watch Master of the Killer Ants documentary and take detailed notes on Rural African Village Society and how they use the ants to help them thrive. Homework: PERS. 4-7 ONLY=Continue to Study for "Large Quiz" ON WEDNESDAY.

Thursday, December 4th

Agenda: Periods 4-7 Only=Review Empires of Mali and Songhai Q.'s as a class. Then briefly review Primary Source reading & q.'s on Sultan of Mail handout. Finally, work on Village Society in West Africa reading and q.'s in groups of 2. Homework: PERIODS 4-7 ONLY=Study for "Large Quiz" on Wednesday.

Wednesday, December 3rd

Agenda: ALL CLASSES=View Mansa Musa Filmstrip Doc. and take detailed notes...then discuss as a class. Periods 4-7=Start/Complete Sultan of Mali Reading Handout and Questions on Backside. Homework: Periods 4-7 ONLY=Finish Sultan of Mali, if not already completed by end of class.

Tuesday, December 2nd

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Finish reading Sundiata and answer questions as a class. Then start on Ghana, Mali and Songhai worksheet as a class. Periods 4-7=Work on Mali and Songhai questions in advance of Mansa Musa Filmstrip fun tomorrow :) Homework: PERS. 4-7 ONLY=Finish Mali and Songhai questions (if not done yet).

Monday, December 1st

Agenda: All Classes=Thanksgiving Week Wrap-Ups and then read Sundiata: The Lion King of Mali Story as a Class and discuss. Homework: None.
