Friday, March 9th

Agenda: Today we'll be adding more important events to the timeline for Section 1. Then focusing on one of the richest men in the history of the world (Mansa Musa). After that you'll have some time to study for your Test on Tuesday. DON'T FORGET TO STUDY LESSON 12, along with Lesson 13. Homework: Study, Study for your Lessons 12 AND 13 Test Next Tuesday!! Heads Up: There will be a study session after school on Monday for around 30 minutes.

Thursday, March 8th

Agenda: Sit with your group from yesterday at the start of class. Then finish the last 2-3 sections as a group. After that, take a couple of minutes to get ready to present as a group and review your section with the rest of class. Homework: Study for Lessons 12 & 13 Test Early Next Week.

Wednesday, March 7th

Agenda: Start class by checking highlighting for Lesson 13 Sections 2-7. Then start workbook activity for those sections with a dividing of the class into 6 groups. Your group will be responsible for reviewing with the class about YOUR section. Today, your group is responsible for completing 4 of the 6 sections. Homework: Start to think about how you will best study to prepare for your Lessons 12 & 13 Test Early Next Week!

Tuesday, March 6th

Agenda: Discuss what Mrs. S. shared with you guys yesterday to start class today. Then we'll start on Lesson 13 with Preview. After the preview, please read, highlight and complete Section 1 with a partner. Homework: Read/Highlight Sections 2 THRU 7 (we'll be starting on the activity in your workbook for these sections tomorrow).

Agenda: Enjoy Storyteller Day with Mrs. S :) Homework: None.

Friday, March 2nd

Agenda: Start class by working on Sections 4 & 5 in small groups. WHEN done with 4 & 5: complete Processing too. Then review as a class and fun-day friday. Homework: None.

Thursday, March 1st

Agenda: Review answers to Sections 1 and 2 as a class. Then work on Section 3 in groups of two. After that, start on your homework. See below. Homework: Finish reading and highlighting Sections 4 & 5 (will be checked tomorrow).
