Wednesday, January 16th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Take first 5 minutes of class to perfect your Hunter Gather Menu and then be ready to share. Have partner groups share Hunter Gather Menus. Then we'll be focusing on the article titled Collective Learning found in Unit 6.2. First you'll read this important article, you'll be taking 2 bullet points on what you feel is the most important parts of each paragraph. Homework: Finish Collective Learning article notes (see above) if not done by the end of class.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Check annotations for Foraging article. Then share one thing you took notes on yesterday from our video (each person will share one thing) After that, we'll watch From Foraging to Food Shopping to prepare our appetites for making a Hunter Gather Menu in groups of 2 (be ready to share your group's menu with the class tomorrow). Homework: Finish your Hunter Gather Menu for homework, if you're not done by the end of class.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then watch and take detailed bullet point AND Key Idea notes on video found in 6.3 titled: How Did the First Humans Live. We will go around class and have EVERYONE share one thing they took notes on. Finally start reading article called Foraging and annotate. Homework: Finish reading and annotating (checked tomorrow at the start of class for credit).

Agenda: iPADs STAY OUTSIDE TODAY Please. Pass back papers/tests from 1st semester. Watch Making Stone Tools as a class (don't need to take notes during this video). Then view Big History documentary on Below Zero (take notes during this one please). Agenda: Today we focus on two social sciences we've discussed some this first semester and will continue to discuss for the rest of the year: archeology and anthropology. We'll be watching two videos on these social sciences and answering questions as a class.
