Agenda: *iPad Day* Open Google Classroom and then link titled Cow Tail Switch. Read as a class and then discuss. After this, take rest of time in class to study your notes for quiz tomorrow. (Remember: it will be closed notes). Homework: Study, Study for Medieval Africa quiz tomorrow.

Agenda: iPads stay outside today please. Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then ask class why I'm wearing a Brooklyn shirt today. After that, finish Master of the Killer Ants and discuss by each sharing one thing you learned from the notes you took during the documentary. Homework: Study for Medieval Africa Quiz on Wednesday.

Agenda: No iPads today please. Today we'll see the importance of community in African society and village life by viewing Master of the Killer Ants ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2XOhcXz_zs ) Make sure you're taking detailed bullet point notes during the documentary, this WILL be part of your quiz on Wednesday. Homework: Start studying your notes for quiz on Wednesday.

Thursday, April 11th

Agenda: Please leave iPads outside today. Today is all about Mansa Musa! First you'll take down your 5 M's on the board (make sure you memorize those!) Then we'll watch a 3 minute video on Mansa Musa: One of the Richest Men to Ever Live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3YJMaL55TM After the video, using your red book, starting on page 225 and going onto page 226, you'll take bullet point notes on anything and everything to do with Mansa Musa. *There will be a quiz next week, so make sure you're detailed*. Finally, with last 10 minutes of class we'll discuss your notes. Homework: None.

Agenda: Use clips from Lion King to see similarities to Sundiata The Hungering Lion. Make sure you're taking bullet point notes on what you see in common as we go. Also briefly show similarities to Black Panther and the Lion King. Finally, we'll review some other African proverbs. Homework: None.
