Agenda: Please leave iPads outside today, thanks. Check/Review Ch. 7 voc. as a class. Watch and take more notes on Islam: Empire of Faith. We'll discuss and have everyone share one fact to start class tomorrow. Homework: None.

Tuesday, October 8th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Work on Ch. 7 vocabulary sheet individually for first 30 minutes of class. When you finish the voc., continue to read and highlight Ch. 7. Then get out a sheet of paper and start taking bullet point notes on PBS documentary titled: Islam-Empire of Faith (we will continue watching and taking notes on more of it later this week). Homework: None, if you've finished your Ch. 7 voc in class.

Monday, October 7th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap-Ups, then review the answers to the questions you completed on Friday. Homework: None.

Friday, October 4th

Agenda: iPads stay outside today please. Pick up where you left-off with reading and answering questions for Empires article and then you'll be doing the same thing with the article on Mulan's Poem for FunDay Friday! Homework: None.

Thursday, October 3rd

Agenda: *iPad Day* Start class by reading and discussing World Religions article on Newsela. Make sure that you highlight in RED those words that you don't know and we'll discuss on Monday. Then begin to read Empires article as a class. After done reading, answer questions on a separate sheet of paper. Homework: None, you'll pick up where you left off tomorrow.
