Agenda: *iPad Day* First of all: Turn-in your October Sky reflection/summary as soon as you walk in. Get out your voc. and red pen. We're going to peer grade this one. Then read A Little Big History of Silver in Unit 3.1 and take notes=2 bullet points per paragraph please (will be important later this week). Homework: None, rest up for All Hallow's Eve tomorrow :)

Monday, October 29th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then take a few minutes to make sure you're happy with your October Sky summary, you'll be printing it tonight and turning it in for credit tomorrow. Finally, it's voc. day (yay) for Unit 3.1 Part 2. Homework: Print up your October Sky summary and turn in at the start of class tomorrow. Also finish 3.1 Voc. Part 2 (if not done already).

Friday, October 26th (Game 3)

Agenda: *iPad Day* Start class by finishing October Sky. Then take 15 minutes to type a paragraph about how this film has helped you understand/inspire you in our studies of space. Then we'll share our paragraphs with a partner and then with the class. If time at the end, brief baseball history lesson. Homework: None.

Wednesday, October 24th (Game 2)

Agenda: *iPad Day* Check voc. as a class (NEXT TIME IT WILL BE GRADED). Then you'll be working on the activity titled Life of a Star and we'll discuss as a class. First you'll be opening it with Notability and then doing the best you can to put them in order and be ready to share WHY. Homework: None.

Tuesday, October 23rd (Game 1 of the World Series)

Agenda: *iPad Day* Start class by finishing video and notes from yesterday. Then share notes as a class. After that, we're going to take a few minutes to check out the Hubble Space Telescope website as a class. Then voc. day individually (be sure to 2x check your answers with the BHP glossary). Homework: None, get your voc. done in class and then you can watch Game 1 of the World Series tonight on FOX!
