Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups for the first time in a while :) Then finish Samurai documentary, since you all seemed to enjoy it so much! Don't forget to take detailed, bullet-point notes (we're going to review them right after documentary is finished). Homework: None.

Agenda: Work on Japan Unit Map for entire class individually. *You may use your iPad as a source only after checking all the maps in your book first.* Remember it's due at the start of class tomorrow. Homework: Finish Japan Map, Due at Start of Class Tomorrow!

Wednesday, February 22nd

Agenda: Start class by turning in China Unit Notebooks. Then handout and discuss Japan Unit Map before you start on it in class. Homework: Continue to work on Japan Unit Map (due Friday at the start of class)!

Agenda: Start class by checking/reviewing Ch. 18 as a class. Then some time to study with a partner! Homework: You already know, BUT study for China Unit Test on Wednesday!!

Friday, February 10th

Agenda: Check Ch. 18 Questions. Watch first half of Mulan! You are welcome to study while the film is playing, just no iPads today please. Homework: Continue to Study for China Unit Test on Wednesday!

Thursday, February 9th

Agenda: Take first 20 minutes of class to work on Ch. 18 Q.'s. Then have mini-lesson and simulation on Mongolian warfare and use our wall to demonstrate the Mongols invading the real Great Wall of China. Homework: Ch. 18 due at start of class tomorrow.

Wednesday, February 8th

Agenda: Take 1st 20 Minutes of class to finish Q.'s for Ch. 17. Then my T/A's will come around and check it for credit. After that, READ Ch. 18 BEFORE you start on the Q.'s please. Homework: Ch. 18 Q.'s are due at the Start of Class on Friday. And don't forget to start studying for China Unit Test on Chs. 15, 16, 17 AND 18 Next Wednesday!

Agenda: Check and Review Ch. 16 as a class. Start on Ch. 17, due HALF-WAY THRU class TOMORROW. Homework: Finish Ch. 17 for homework (HALF-WAY THRU class TOMORROW).

Monday, February 6th

Agenda: Finish Critical Thinking Quotes on 3 Eastern Religions/Philosophies as a class. Then handout and work on Ch. 16 (due tomorrow, but you Don't Have to do Processing at end of worksheet). Homework: Finish Ch. 16, due at start of class tomorrow!

Friday, February 3rd

Agenda: Using eBackpack, (you will be writing your answers on the digital copy of the document), we will analyze and make inferences of the origin of quotes on Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism as a class! If any extra time, please use it to re-read and further highlight Ch. 16 and be ready to start on the drawing of answers to the questions first thing on Monday! Homework: Continue to study Ch. 15 answers and think about potential questions for Ch. 16 and beyond.
