Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Finish Up Ch. 20 and then Samurai Fun :) Periods 4-7=Discuss project options and then start working with your group. Homework: Periods 4-7=Work on Samurai Project (we'll start presenting Next Thursday, March 5th).

Wednesday, February 25th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Continue to work on Ch. 20 as a class. Periods 4-7=Review Ch. 20 Review as a class. Then introduce Samurai project and create groups. Homework: Periods 4-7=Work on Samurai Project (we'll start presenting next Thursday, March 5th).

Tuesday, February 24th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Continue working on Ch. 20 as a class. Periods 4-7=Review Ch. 19 Review as a class and then work on Ch. 20 review in groups of 2. Be prepared to start something new, different and fun starting tomorrow. Homework: Periods 4-7=Finish Ch. 20 Review (if not already done).

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Week Off Wrap-Ups and then start on Ch. 20 as a class. Periods 4-7=Get in groups of 2 and review Ch. 19 Review in groups. Homework: Periods 4-7=Finish Ch. 19 Review Questions (if not already done).

Friday, February 13th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Finish Ch. 19 and then Friday Fun Day :) Periods 4-7=Go over Prince Shotoku's Constitution Q.'s to start class. Then Minamoto Yoritomo handout, then Friday Fun Day :) Homework: None.

Thursday, February 12th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Continue working on Ch. 19 as a class. Periods 4-7=Switch your partner from yesterday and share about Ch. 20. Then Prince Shotoku's Constitution if we have time.

Wednesday, February 11th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Start Reading and Answering questions from Ch. 19 on eBackpack. Periods 4-7=Start class by sitting with your partner that you chose yesterday at the end of class. With your partner, you will finish reading Ch. 20 and then begin to answer the questions with your partner. Homework: Periods 4-7=Finish Ch. 20 questions, if not already completed in class.

Tuesday, February 10th

Agenda: ALL CLASSES=Work on Japan Maps for 1/2 half of class. Then: Periods 1 & 2 ONLY=Review Maps with Japan Map on screen. Periods 4-7=Start on Ch. 20 :) Homework: ALL CLASSES=None.

Agenda: ALL CLASSES=Weekend Wrap-Ups. Following that, rest of period to work on Japan Maps. Homework: ALL CLASSES=None.

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Work on Japan Map for entire class period. Periods 4-7=Check and Review Ch. 19 Questions and Answers as a class. Then a little Friday Fun Day surprise :) Homework: ALL CLASSES=None.

Thursday, February 5th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Turn-In China Unit Notebook. Then intro. Japan Unit with discussion and reading. Periods 4-7=Wrap-Up Mythical, Legendary Founding of Japan with discussion. Then start on Ch. 19 from History Alive! reading and questions. Homework: Periods 4-7=Finish Ch. 19 Packet (don't have to do Processing at the End).

Wednesday, February 4th

Agenda: Periods 1 & 2=Day to work on China Unit Notebook. Periods 4-7=Background Essay on eBackpack on Mythical, Legendary Founding of Japan :) Then start Ch. 19 on eBackpack (reading and questions). Homework: Periods 1 & 2 ONLY=Complete China Unit Notebook Due Tomorrow at Start of Class.
