Agenda: Get with your round table group to start class. Begin class discussion on Cosmology and Faith and see if it becomes a debate on Cosmology vs. Faith. Remember this is the first time we're doing a class-wide debate this year, so just do the best you can. EVERYONE must participate at least once today with something important to add to the discussion. Homework: None.

Thursday, September 27th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Take the first 15 minutes to finish your Cosmology vs. Faith bullet point notes. Then 15 minutes into class, we'll get into groups (numbered 1, 2, 3 or 4) and prepare for our discussion on WHY your group feels that John Haught was not objective in the article we read three times (once as a class, once in your small group and once in your larger group today). Be prepared for a discussion/debate to start class tomorrow! We are looking for evidence that Mr. Haught was not objective, be ready to share tomorrow. Everyone MUST say something in your group during the debate tomorrow for credit (it's going to be both a group and individual grade). Homework: Finish group evidence gathering and be prepared for discussion/debate at the start of class tomorrow.

Then read article titled Approaches to Knowledge and take bullet point notes (at least 7 bullet points)=will be checked for credit tomorrow. Homework: Finish reading Approaches to Knowledge article and take at least 7 bullet point notes (if not completed by the end of class).

Agenda: Start class by taking Origin Stories Open Note Quiz on Google Classroom. When you're done, please bring your O.S. chart up to me and open up the Claim Testers comic book. Then we'll act out the comic book together as a class for Fun Day Friday. Following this, you'll be working in partners to complete the 1.3 vocabulary part 2 pages. Homework: None.

Agenda: *i-Pad Day*Please sit with your Origin Story group that we assigned at the end of class yesterday. You'll be using the class period today to do more research on your Origin Story. After you've done more research, you'll be creating a short keynote or Google slides (only 3-4 slides) to present to the rest of class starting half-way through class on Monday. The 1st slide: title page with group names and name of Origin Story. 2nd/3rd slides: information to fill-out chart. Last slide: couple pictures to bring your Origin Story to life for us! Homework: Continue your Origin Story group project and be prepared to present half-way through class on Monday.

Make sure to leave class copy on your desk when the bell rings. Homework: Using Google Classroom, finish taking bullet-point notes on Texts that you didn't get to in class.
