Agenda: Memorial Day weekend wrap-ups, then finish Counter Reformation Questions. When you've come up and shown me that you're completed, start reading about Renaissance in your Red Book (Ch. 7). Homework: None.

Agenda: View Everyday Life in the Renaissance documentary and answer questions during it and after with a pen please. Homework: None, enjoy your Memorial Day weekend with Family and Friends :)

Thursday, May 25th

Agenda: Have a brief discussion at Calvin and Henry VIII. Then finish comparing these two reformers to Martin Luther. Reformers Comparison due by end of class. Homework: None.

Wednesday, May 24th

Agenda: Take Luther Movie Quiz (focused on The Diet of Worms). Then start on The Reformation Spreads Questions from Ch. 8 Section 2 with Reformer Comparison Venn Diagram. Homework: Continue to work on Reformer Comparison Venn Diagram due at end of class tomorrow (I'll start checking it about halfway through class).

Tuesday, May 23rd

Agenda: Continue to watch The Reformation play out in front of us and don't forget to take detailed notes. Homework: Study for possible quiz tomorrow.

Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups, then make sure you have a piece of paper to take detailed bullet point notes as we watch the central figure of The Reformation come to life on the screen. Homework: Review Notes and Be Ready to take more tomorrow on The Diet of Worms.

Agenda: Focus on the Central Figure of the Protestant Reformation today: Martin Luther, with a discussion and documentary clips. Homework: None, just get a good night's sleep for Career Day tomorrow :)

Agenda: Start class by checking and reviewing first page of The Reformation Begins Q.'s. Then continued detailed discussion with the Reformers who blazed a trail for Martin Luther by focusing on Wycliffe and Tyndale (English reformers who inspired Luther). Homework: None.

Tuesday, May 16th

Agenda: Start class by collecting Medieval Europe Unit Notebooks. Then start our next and final unit on The Reformation and Renaissance with a class discussion breaking down the root words of Protestant and Reformation. After that, work on questions that go with reading on The Reformation that starts on Pg. 423 of the Red Book. Homework: None, if you've finished the first page of questions.

Monday, May 15th

Agenda: Weekend Wrap-Ups, then finish Crusades Q.'s review as a class. After that, work on Medieval Times Notebook Reflection and prepare your Unit Notebooks, due at the start of class tomorrow! Homework: Unit Notebooks Due at Start of Class Tomorrow!

Agenda: Since we finished discussing the Last Crusade that we will discuss this year, let's watch a little Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (it's only fitting to do so) :) Homework: None, but it'll be the last time for a while, so enjoy it!

Agenda: Watch Crusades documentary to bring the history to life that we talked about yesterday for the first 20 minutes of class. Be sure to take detailed bullet point notes during the documentary with Ye Ole Fashioned piece of lined paper and a pen. Then you'll be EACH sharing something you found interesting about the doc. After that, well if there is time left, it's a surprise :) Homework: None.

Agenda: Start on Crusades Questions that go with reading from Blue book that we started yesterday at the end of class. We'll be working as a class today to further our understanding on this complex and intriguing subject. Homework: Finish reading Crusades reading on eBackpack (make sure to highlight as you go).
