Agenda: *iPad Day* First of all: Turn-in your October Sky reflection/summary as soon as you walk in. Get out your voc. and red pen. We're going to peer grade this one. Then read A Little Big History of Silver in Unit 3.1 and take notes=2 bullet points per paragraph please (will be important later this week). Homework: None, rest up for All Hallow's Eve tomorrow :)

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap-Ups. Then take a few minutes to make sure you're happy with your October Sky summary, you'll be printing it tonight and turning it in for credit tomorrow. Finally, it's voc. day (yay) for Unit 3.1 Part 2. Homework: Print up your October Sky summary and turn in at the start of class tomorrow. Also finish 3.1 Voc. Part 2 (if not done already).

Agenda: Find a classmate who has done the scientist that you still need and have them teach you (not just let you copy) their notes. Then switch so that everyone has all the notes. After that, cross-check the notes you already have on Copernicus and Galileo with the readings on those two scientists. If time left, organize your notes so that you're ready to go for the quiz tomorrow. Homework: Study and be ready for your open note quiz tomorrow!

Agenda: *iPad Day* Begin class by taking 5 minutes to re-familiarize yourself with the scientist that you chose to read their article on last night. Then we'll do a class poll on who chose which scientist. After that, you'll take about 15 minutes to write a paragraph on why you chose the scientist you did (you're welcome to use the article for reasons why you chose that scientist). Then at the end of class, you'll share your paragraph with a classmate who also chose that same scientist. Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Weekend Wrap Ups. Then reflect on Friday's activity for a couple of minutes. After that, we're going to watch Crash Course Big History: Why Cosmic Evolution as a class. Please make sure you're taking bullet point notes to go along with the Key Ideas (per usual). Finally, you'll have a chance to start and maybe finish your homework in class. Choose between one of the articles on the following scientists you find in Unit 2.1: Ptolemy, Newton, Henrietta Leavitt or Edwin Hubble. After you've decided please read that article and be ready to discuss WHY you decided on that scientist. Homework: Finish reading your chosen article by the start of class tomorrow.

Make sure that you have paper and a blue or black pen to take bullet point notes please. Homework: Think about and look up (if you need to) the Moon Landing. Think about its significance to our world today; that'll be our topic to discuss tomorrow.
