Agenda: *Once again iPads stay OUTSIDE today* Start class by sharing Clayton Kershaw's connection to Pluto. Then move onto Unit 4.1 with video on What Was The Young Earth Like. **Please remember to update your Study Helper Sheet by answering #2, along with taking bullet point notes!** Then we'll watch something for Fun Day Friday :) Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Start class by doing Planet Card Sort activity as a class on your iPad. Then we'll watch the video titled How Did Earth and the Solar System Form? (found in Unit 4.0). Make sure you're taking detailed notes (focusing on answers to Key Idea questions). After that we'll follow up by starting to read How Our Solar System Formed and highlight as you go. Homework: Finish reading How Our Solar System Formed and make sure the article is highlighted by start of class tomorrow.

Agenda: Pass back Cell Phone activity. Find someone who did the other scientist and take at least 5 bullet point notes as they explain all about their scientists. Then we'll watch a documentary on the importance of Gold throughout history. This doc. is found in the other materials folder in Unit 3. Homework: None.

Agenda: Take the first 30 minutes of class to finish your Scientist Cell Phone activity. Then we'll be stapling as a class and turning in. After that, weekend wrap-ups. Homework: None.

Friday, November 9th

Agenda: Start class by taking 10 minutes to make sure you have your bullet points done on your scientist. Then you'll be creating a cell phone that your scientist might've had (had there been cell phones back then). The handout you'll receive will guide you through this. You'll have half of class to work on them on Tuesday. Be ready to share your cell phones early next week. Homework: None.

Thursday, November 8th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Finish last couple of Superhero Element group presentations. Then decide if you want to research either Marie Curie or Dmitri Mendeleev. After you decide, start by writing two reasons you chose that scientist. Then you'll be reading the article of them found in Unit 3.2 and write two bullet points per paragraph. If you finish before class is over, use the time to do some outside research on your chosen scientist. Homework: Take more bullet point notes on your chosen scientist, if you don't finish by the end of class (remember, you'll have 10 minutes to finish at start of class tomorrow, so plan accordingly).

Agenda: Take the first 35 minutes of class to make sure you're ready to present. Then start presenting Superhero Element Groups (probably just have one group go today, depending on time).
