Friday, May 31st

Agenda: iPads stay outside today please. Start class by sharing with your two group mates the impacts/effects of the Crusades. Then preview what we'll cover on Monday: The Black Death by watching short documentary on it (make sure you're taking bullet point notes). If time, see a different take on Medieval Europe by watching a couple of scenes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail for FunDay Friday. Homework: None.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Start class by reviewing The Crusades Q.'s (Section 1 & 2) in GREAT DETAIL. Focusing on Salah al-Din and the Horns of Hattin. Then work on Effects of The Crusades in groups of 3 (each of you will focus on the effects on one group: Christians, Jews or Muslims). You'll share with your group mates at the start of class tomorrow. Homework: None.

Wednesday, May 29th

Agenda: *iPad Day* Each share one thing from catapult documentary notes. Then watch the Siege of Jerusalem come to life. After that, handout Ch. 10 and complete reading and Q.'s for Sections. 1 & 2. BE DETAILED PLEASE. Homework: Finish Section 2 before start of class (if not already done).

Agenda: **Remember iPads stay outside for the rest of this week and next week too** All you'll need for today is a pen, your silent reading book (if you finish before block is done) and an enthusiasm to learn about how China and Korea have influenced Japan. First I'll explain the reading and packet you'll be working with. *The packet is a class copy, so PLEASE DON'T WRITE ON IT* Then you'll be working through the packet in groups of 2 using the class copy of the reading. Once you finish with you packet, you can read quietly. Homework: None.
