Agenda: *iPad Day* Finish video and notes we started from yesterday. Then read What is the Biosphere article found in 5.2 as a class. After this, answer/draw your answer for #3 on the Study Helper Sheet. Finally, get a jump on what we're doing tomorrow. Then we'll be discussing some of your answers as a class and watching the supplemental video on How Do Earth and Life Interact, stopping at the Key Ideas to discuss and take notes. Homework: Continue to study for Units 4 & 5 Test Next Wednesday!

Then read Life and Purpose from Unit 5.0 as a class. Be sure to highlight as we're reading as a class. Agenda: Check highlights of Principles of Geology article to start class. Then get with a partner and annotate the portions of the article in the LEAST amount of words possible. (I'll show an example before you start) Then you'll take your know of geology and answer questions 5 & 6 on your Study Helper Sheet. If you finish with good detail on q.'s 1-6 before the end of class, quiz your partner to prepare for your Test on Units 4 and 5 on the 19th. Homework: Study your Study Helper Sheet now that's it's completed.

Agenda: *iPad Day* Start class by taking about 10 minutes to make sure #3 on your study helper sheet is filled out in detail (the article titled Alfred Wegener and Harry Hess has a good section on plate tectonics to help you). Then we'll be introducing Geology and Unit 4.3 with a clip from a veteran of that field. Make sure you're taking good notes on the Key Ideas (both questions and answers please). Taking good notes will help you answer #4 on your study sheet in great detail! Homework: None.
